DAY I 02 April 2020 Thursday
Arrival in Gdansk ‐ city centre sightseeing ‐
Check‐in ‐ first rehearsal with Polish
conductor and other choirs
Upon arrival at Gdansk airport or ferry
terminal, or railway station transfer to the
city, with local guide and bus.
City sightseeing tour of the Main Town of
Gdansk.
Your private guide will show you all the
best that city can offer.
Check i at hotel.
In the evening bus transfer with guide to
common rehearsal for Requiem by Fauré.

DAY II 03 April 2020 Friday
Common rehearsal ‐ Spare time ‐
Evening concert of your own repertoire
After buffet breakfast at the hotel bus transfer to
the second rehearsal for Requiem by Fauré
with guide assistant. Practice together with Polish
orchestra, soloists and conductor and with other
participating choirs.
Spare time for strolling along the beautiful streets
of Gdansk and lunch (option) in one of the hundreds
of great restaurants, where you can try the cuisine
typical of this region of Poland.
In the afternoon ‐ walk to the church, private
rehearsal and preparation to the concert.
Evening concert shared with another participating
choir(s) at one of the historic basilicas in the Main
Town of Gdansk.

DAY III 04 April 2020 Saturday
Optional excursion to Sopot spa resort with a walk on the
Pier ‐ Concert of Requiem by Fauré
at a basilica
Buffet breakfast at the hotel and optional excursion to
Sopot, a charming pre‐war seaside resort with beautiful
villas and pensions, walk with guide along the Pier and
the famous Monte Cassino boulevard, full of fine cafes,
restaurants and shops or excursion to European Centre
of Solidarity, the museum devoted to the history of the
Polish Solidarnosc trade union and civil resistance
movement ‐ sightseeing with guide
Spare time for shopping or for exploring the city and its
museums, i.e. National Museum with the famous
painting “ Judgement Day” by Hans Memling.
Afternoon‐ go to concert venue for Requiem by Fauré.
Short rehearsal before the concert.
Requiem by Fauré at Basilica of Our Lady or another
similar and dignified church, performed by joint choirs,
Polish orchestra and soloists and with Polish conductor.
Ending the day with gala dinner for all participants at
one of the local restaurants (option)

DAY IV 05 April 2020 Sunday
Check‐out ‐ Departure
After breakfast check out and bus transfer to
the airport or ferry terminal.

* Transport according to the programme
* Guided city tour with guide speaking your native language (~4h)

VIII International Choir Festival. WARSAW, May 21-24 CANCELLED DUE TO COVID-19

DAY I, May 21, Thursday
Arrival in Warsaw - Opening concert

Coach / bus and guide to meet the choir upon arrival in
Warsaw (airport, railwaystation or hotel).
Accommodation at very centrally located hotel Ibis Stare Miasto (Old
Town area), the finest dining and shopping area in
the centre. Optional lunch.
Evening: opening concert hosted by the authorities of the Capital City
of Warsaw.
Each choir is requested to prepare repertoire for approx. 10 min –
secular or/and sacral, gospel.
Concert, where choirs present themselves and their music.
After the concert gathering with refreshments, soft drinks and
beverages.

DAY II, May 22, Friday
Buffet breakfast at the hotel - City sightseeing - Free time -
Concert.

After breakfast morning city sightseeing tour with a fully
licenced local guide.
Bus and stroll - 4 hour tour.
Visit the Old Town with the Royal Castle, the Old Market Square,
Barbican and Warsaw Uprising Monument. Follow the Royal Route
passing Presidential Palace and the University of Warsaw.
Your guide will get you to the Monument to Ghetto Uprising Heroes
situated in the middle of former Jewish ghetto area, Royal Łazienki
Park with Palace on the Water and Chopin Monument.
Leisure time / optional lunch
Afternoon: rehearsal for the evening concert.
Evening concerts at various churches or concert sites in Warsaw.

DAY III, May 23, Saturday
Buffet breakfast at the hotel - Free morning - Gala concert -
Farewel dinner with folklore show
Morning rehearsal to the gala concert at Church of the
Holiest Saviour or similar dignified church.
Leisure time for own visits to attractions of Warsaw, shopping,
enjoying the heartbeat of vibrant city
(optional lunch).
Evening gala concert at Church of the Holiest Saviour or similar.
Performance of each participanting choir (approx. 5-8 minutes)
followed by Grande Finale – the common songs, performed by all
present choirs and conducted by the Polish conductor.
Gala dinner at local restaurant, with Polish cuisine and folklore
troupe show.

DAY IV, May 24, Sunday
Buffet breakfast at the hotel - Check out - Departure

Breakfast at the hotel.
Check out and bus transfer to the airport, railway station or
departure by own motorcoach.
Options for late departure (on request):
* Extra concert at one of the local churches
* Visit at Fryderyk Chopin Museum
* Excursion to Zelazowa Wola - a birthplace of outstanding Polish
composer Frederick Chopin, sightseeing interiors and enjoying
live piano recital of Chopin's works
*Excursion to Wilanów Palace, so-called the “Polish Versailles”,
one of the finest examples of Baroque style in Europe, with
splendid art gallery and French garden, once the residence of
King John III Sobieski

DAY I, 15 October 2020, Thursday
Arrival in Krakow - City sightseeing tour - Check-in -First rehearsal with Polish conductor and other choirs

Upon arrival at Krakow airport, transfer to the hotel.
After check-in (or leaving luggage),
spare time for lunch (option) and
walking sightseeing of Krakow Old Town with local guide.
Situated in southern Poland, Krakow is one of the country’s most
ancient cities and its former capital, a real pearl in its crown.
Your private guide will show you all the best our city can offer.
You will check most interesting attractions and experience spirit of
the city and its unique atmosphere.
In the afternoon bus transfer and guide assistance
to/from common rehearsal for Requiem by Mozart.

DAY II, 16th October 2020, Friday
Common rehearsal - Spare time -
Evening concert of your own repertoire

After buffet breakfast at the hotel bus transfer to/from rehearsal,
practice Requiem by Mozart together with other choirs,
Polish orchestra and soloist.
Spare time for a walk through the beautiful streets of the city
and lunch (option) in one of the hundreds of great restaurants
where you can try the cuisine typical of this region of Poland.
In the afternoon - walk to the church,
private rehearsal and preparation to the concert.
Evening concert shared with another participating choir(s)
at one of the historic basilicas
in the Krakow Old Town.
Dinner at local restaurant (option).

DAY III, 17th October 2020, Saturday
Optional excursion to Wieliczka medieval salt mine - Concert of
Requiem by W.A. Mozart at St. Francis of Assisi Basilica

Buffet breakfast at the hotel
and optional excursion to Wieliczka salt mine combined
with short concert at St. Kinga Chapel inside the mine.
Kilometers of underground corridors with impressive chambers,
chapels and emerald salt lakes hide the history and
secrets of the Mine. You will see what
happens when man and Mother Nature work together.
Spare time for shopping or exploring the city.
Short rehearsal before the concert.
Requiem by Mozart at St. Francis of Assisi Basilica
or similar dignified church.
Ending the day full of excitement with farewell dinner
for all participating choirs
and with the Polish maestro and soloist (option).

DAY IV, 18th October 2020, Sunday
Check-out - Departure

After breakfast, the last walk
around the city, check-out
and bus transfer to the airport.
In case of late departure: possibility for an extra concert in Krakow.
